　「週刊Steam VRニュース」は、Steamで配信されるVRコンテンツを中心に、一週間分の新作情報をまとめてお届けするコーナーです。

　今週は4月12日 ～ 4月18日に配信された新作VRタイトルをお届けします。

　今週は近未来型のハイスピードシューター「JetX」を紹介します。

　本作は対戦モードが熱い360度のハイスピードシューターです。プレイヤーは360度自由に飛び回れる空間の中で、同じく周りを飛び回るプレイヤーと激しい銃撃戦を繰り広げます。

　とにかく対戦に重きをおいている作品です。ハイスピードかつアクロバティック、そしてプレイヤースキルが何よりも重要という特徴からVR版のスポーツ系シューターという印象を受けました。

　発売されたばかりでプレイ人口が少ないという問題はまだあるのですが、非VRのPCプレイヤーとも対戦できるので、今後人気が出てくればその問題は解決しそうです。またBOT相手とはなりますがシングル戦も用意されているので、ソロで練習してオンラインに挑む、という遊び方ももちろん可能になっています。

　360度の視界を持つVRの特徴を生かしつつ、ハイスピードでその迫力を、そして非VRのPCユーザーとも対戦できる、と小さな事ですがポイントを積み重ねている手堅い作品になっています。今後に期待できるのでぜひプレイしてみてください。
